Florin M. Stan, MBA LUTCF

In June 2000, Florin left his native country of Romania, his family and friends, to follow his dream of pursuing his MBA degree in the United States, at the University of Cincinnati. While in school, Florin earned and maintained a full academic merit scholarship. After graduation, Florin and three of his MBA classmates founded the MBA Consulting Group, a consulting partnership dedicated to serving the market research needs of businesses in the Cincinnati area.

Florin began his career in financial services in 2002, when he joined Monumental Life’s Leadership Succession Program in Columbus, Ohio. He successfully completed the training program in a record time and was recognized as the program’s top advisor nationally. During his ten year career with Monumental Life (which merged into Transamerica Agency Network in 2010), Florin earned fast-track promotions to Sales Manager in Dayton, District Manager in Canton, then Large District Manager in the Cleveland and the Northeast Ohio region. In addition to Pinnacle Club and Chairman’s Round Table qualifications in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010, Florin was the President’s Trophy winner in 2009 and 2010.

MetLife’s reputation and renewed focus on providing comprehensive, holistic solutions to its clients were chief considerations in Florin’s decision to join the MetLife Premier Client Group of Ohio in 2012. Florin opened his own office, Pro Planning Financial, in the winter of 2016.

Florin and his wife Heather have three children: Julius, Angelica, and Sebastian. They reside in Jackson Township, Ohio.

Florin holds American College’s LUTCF designation and FINRA Certifications Series 6, 63, 7, and 24.

Florin is a 2020 and 2021 Court of the Table qualifying member of The Million Dollar Round Table - The Premier Association of Financial Professionals.
